Names of finalist artists, Celeste Prize 2015, 6th edition
Just announced, the names of the 43 finalist artists lining up for 20,500 € awards which will be decided on 15 November at the upcoming exhibition at Assab-One, Milan, Italy.
Celeste Prize is an annual, contemporary arts prize which awards emerging and mid-career artists from around the world for excellence in content, contemporary aesthetics and technique.
Comment by Elena Sorokina, chief-curator of Celeste Prize 2014, 6th edition:
“Following the open and free online application procedure, the jury is very pleased to announce the shortlisted nominees working across various media. All selections are based on every jury member’s professional expertise and sensitivity. Celeste is a great opportunity for emerging artists to show their work to curators all over the world. We are very much looking forward to see the nominees in Milan.”
