ELISABETH RASS, photo artist from Vienna, presents an artwork from the series ABSTRACTION. ABSTRACTION is an attempt to see things that surround us daily in a new way. It is asked whether the reality, as we see it, really is as we see it, or do we just want to see it the way we see. By using photo editing programs everyday things were transformed into fantasies and thereby created new realities.

Elisabeth Rass was invited in 2016 for the second time by the jury of Contemporary Art Ruhr for photo & media special talents with the new project THE LOST WORLD.

HERWIG MARIA STARK, visual artist and designer from Salzburg, is represented in this exhibition with a new work created in 2016. THE MONROE REPUBLIC from the series THE AMERICAN WAY of LIFE unites two icons of US history that have influenced the generations and still will do so, Marilyn Monroe und Mickey Mouse. Both artificial characters created by one of the largest entertainment machines in the world.

Herwig Maria Stark, is with his works from the series MULTIPLE MOMENTS one of the winners of the 2016 portrait competition launched by Jan Kossen Contemporary Art Gallery, New York City.
